
DINWIDDIE – Tomorrow, at the Dinwiddie Airport, “Wings & Wheels” rolls in…or should I say flies in.
If you’re looking for a fun event, you’re invited to feast your eyes on some fabulous plane and vehicle exhibits, enjoy delicious local fare, listen to live music, and take a walk through space in a VR tent.
It is a family-friendly, non-alcoholic community event.
The WWII Spitfire War Bird flight will be at 2:30 p.m., and the Skyraider flight will be at 4:30 p.m.

Spectrum Band plays 12 – 2 p.m., and County Seat Band plays 3 – 4 p.m. and 5 – 6 p.m. The virtual reality experience is from 1 – 5 p.m.
The inaugural event takes place Saturday, August 14 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, August 15.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for military, seniors, first responders, and children 12 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or click here.
