Synopsis of Gladiator II:
The film starts with Simba (Donald Glover) and Nala (Beyoncé) getting ready for a new cub. Suddenly, they disappear into the forest, leaving their daughter Kiara (voiced by Blue Ivy Carter) in the care of Timon the meerkat (Billy Eichner) and Pumbaa the warthog (Seth Rogen). Meanwhile, Rafiki (John Kani) shares the backstory of Mufasa (Aaron Pierre) and Scar (Kelvin Harrison Jr.) with Kiara. Notably, the movie challenges Disney’s traditional story by suggesting that Simba’s roots do not come from the Pride Lands, turning the usual tale upside down.
